Check 1: Does the way it works make sense?
Limescale and urine scale are mineral deposits. To dissolve them, a cleaner has to stay in direct contact with the buildup long enough. That's exactly where classic toilet gels fall short: they run off the rim into the water within seconds.
The Power Foamer takes the opposite approach. According to the vendor, the powder forms a dome of foam in the water that climbs up the porcelain and collects under the rim, where the active ingredients have time to work. The idea makes sense and explains why foam can work in spots a brush can barely reach. The vendor doesn't describe in detail how the formula works chemically.
Result: plausible—with the caveat that its effectiveness is based on the vendor's claims.
Check 2: How easy is it to use?

Pour in the pouch
Tear open the pouch and pour the powder straight into the toilet water.

Close the lid
The foam rises right away and climbs up under the rim. Now wait about 20 minutes.

Flush
Flush once – the loosened buildup goes down with the water.
It hardly gets easier: no measuring, no gloves, no brush. The only mistake you can make is flushing too soon. If you have several toilets, each one needs its own pouch.
Result: very easy. Details in our how-to guide.
Check 3: Ingredients and safety
According to the vendor, the formula contains no chlorine bleach, ammonia, quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) or biocides. From this, the vendor concludes that the foam won't disrupt septic systems when used as directed and doesn't give off harsh fumes.
We didn't find a complete ingredient list on the product page. The information and safety instructions on the package are what counts. Important: Fuugu is explicitly not a disinfectant.
Result: clear statements about what's not in it; the full formula isn't online. More on our safety page.
Check 4: Price and packs
We went through the order page on October 20, 2026. The vendor shows prices in your local currency, so you'll see today's price right there. These are the packs:
Pack sizes as listed on the order page on October 20, 2026. The shop shows the current price in your currency – that price is what counts.
Since one pouch equals one weekly treatment, your cost per toilet per week is simply the price of one pouch. That's more than a splash of vinegar, but you skip the mixing, the overnight soaking and the scrubbing. The 12-pack has the lowest price per pouch—up to 70% off the reference price, according to the vendor.
Result: transparent, with substantial volume discounts.
Check 5: Ordering, shipping and returns
Ordering is straightforward: choose a pack, enter your contact details and shipping address, and pay. On the order page we saw credit or debit card, Klarna and Apple Pay; options may vary by country. According to the shipping policy, orders are processed within 1–2 business days and delivered in about 4–14 business days (not guaranteed); you'll see the shipping cost before you place your order.
The return policy gives you 60 days from receipt. Within 14 days, the policy says the original shipping cost is refunded as well; after that, the product price. Returns go through the contact form and a return form, and the buyer pays return shipping.
Result: clearly defined, with a generous window.
Check 6: Who's behind Fuugu?
According to its own information, the shop is run by UAB Domestica, a company registered in Lithuania (company number 307174704). It describes itself as a direct-sales company for household products that delivers to over 90 countries. Under the Fuugu brand, it also sells cleaners for dishwashers and washing machines.
On Trustpilot, the brand has 4.3 out of 5 stars from 443 reviews (as of October 20, 2026), mostly about the dishwasher tablets. We didn't find the Power Foamer on Amazon—the vendor sells it directly through its official shop.
Result: a registered company with clear, traceable policies.
